About Moonbeam Astronomy Club

A volunteer astronomy club built around patient observing, shared notes, and clear guidance under real night skies.

Moonbeam began as a small group of neighbors comparing telescope views from a local park. Today, we remain community-led and non-commercial: members trade field-tested tips, map constellations together, and learn by doing—whether it is your first time finding Orion or your hundredth night logging lunar detail.

If you are ready to join the next observing night, see upcoming meetups. Prefer to read first? Visit our observation notes.

  1. 01

    Welcoming at every level

Beginners and experienced observers share the same sky. Questions are encouraged, language stays clear, and no one is expected to know everything.

  2. 02

    Science-minded and practical

We focus on usable methods: star-hopping routes, weather-aware planning, and observation logs that help members improve night after night.

  3. 03

    Community over commerce

Moonbeam runs on volunteer effort and shared curiosity. Our goal is steady learning, respectful collaboration, and more people looking up together.
